A 100% Automated Turnkey Warehouse for Würth in La Rioja

Würth, the multinational fasteners and industrial supplies company, needed to expand its logistics center in Agoncillo, Spain without interrupting operations and to support growth across a catalog of more than 125,000 SKUs. To meet this challenge, Würth partnered with Interlake Mecalux for a custom warehouse solution combining automation, storage, and order-handling equipment.

Interlake Mecalux designed and installed a fully automated clad-rack warehouse, reception/dispatch building, conveyors, pallet lifts, an electrified monorail system, and Easy WMS software. The new installation stores 15,190 pallets in just 3,500 m², reaches 300 pallets per hour, and includes dedicated picking areas and space reserved for future expansion, helping Würth maintain its high service level with faster, more efficient order fulfillment.
