University of Missouri System - Customer Case Study

The University of Missouri System, a four-campus institution, needed a better way to collect and manage comprehensive faculty activity data across more than 8,000 faculty members. The system also wanted to support validated CV-based information for teaching, research, service, and other professional activities, while making the data usable for reporting, reviews, and collaboration. To address this, the university adopted Interfolio’s Faculty180 faculty activity reporting platform.

With Interfolio Faculty180, the University of Missouri System was able to clean up and validate large volumes of grants data and make faculty information searchable for collaboration. The system helped correct $3.0 billion in inactive grant dollars across 5,063 grants, including $1.9 billion at MU Columbia, and reduced cleanup time from an estimated two years to just 48 hours for one division. Interfolio also enabled faculty to find collaborators across campuses, improving trust in the data and strengthening buy-in from faculty and administrators.
