Case Study: Orange Business Services streamlines reusable process design with Interfacing EPC

A Interfacing Case Study

Preview of the Orange Case Study

Our customer “Orange Business Services” plans to achieve global re-use, consistency, and standardization with its latest BPM deployment

Orange Business Services (OBS) needed a better way to standardize and reuse product deployment processes across dispersed teams in France, India, Cairo, and other locations. With around 800 products and services delivered each year, the company struggled to maintain consistency, share best practices, and get a global view of work in progress and bottlenecks. Orange chose Interfacing’s Enterprise Process Center (EPC) to support its “Design for Re-use” initiative.

Interfacing implemented EPC in phases, starting with installation and a hands-on three-day training workshop in Rennes, followed by process modeling, multilingual deployment testing, internal training, and reporting setup. The solution provided a central reusable process repository, version control, collaboration, web access, and BPMN support, helping Orange build a shared library of best practices for roughly 200 process conceptualizers. Orange also saw enough value to volunteer as a beta tester for Interfacing’s BPMN 2.0 upgrade, with broader rollout planned afterward.
