Kozloduy NPP, the sole nuclear power plant in Bulgaria and a major national electricity provider, faced challenges in finding an unambiguous way to formally describe its business processes and in maintaining the actuality of its operational documents. To address this and ensure compliance with various standards, they partnered with vendor InterConsult Bulgaria for a business process modeling and management solution.

InterConsult Bulgaria modeled the plant's "as-is" business processes, storing all models in a common database to eliminate ambiguities. Their solution automated document generation, published models via an internal portal, and maintained everything in several languages.
