Gima s.p.a., a multinational company in the packaging and automation sectors, needed a faster way to keep product documentation and spare parts catalogues updated for highly customized machines. To reduce machine downtime and improve after-sales support, it turned to Interactive SPares and its iSP software for online spare parts catalogue management.

Interactive SPares implemented a solution that let Gima configure interactive catalogues for each serial number and publish them on the web, linked to manuals, diagrams, videos, and other product documents. The system also synchronized catalogue structures with PDM data, imported CAD drawings, and used Autotag to quickly convert existing archives, significantly reducing the time needed to create and update spare parts catalogues.
