MSC UK, the UK arm of Mediterranean Shipping Company with over 600 employees across Ipswich and three regional offices, needed a modern intranet to improve internal communications, collaboration and put customers at the heart of its operations. Facing a static, in‑house HTML intranet with no search and poor usability, MSC UK selected Interact and its :MYWORKSPACE platform to better communicate corporate values, streamline information access and support customer‑focused working.

Interact implemented the :MYWORKSPACE intranet with Interact Search, Teams Sites, Widgets, Discussion Forums and Blogging to personalise homepages, speed knowledge sharing and unite distributed teams. The Interact solution now supports multiple users across six departments in four locations, cut HR search and update time, reduced intranet management overhead through devolved content ownership, improved project efficiency and customer service, and won the 2014 Ragan Employee Communication award for Intranet Design.
