The New York Racing Association (NYRA), one of the largest thoroughbred racing organizations in the USA with roughly 1,200 employees across three major tracks, needed a way to communicate mission, standards and operational information across widely dispersed teams. To solve that challenge NYRA selected Interact and deployed an intranet — Inside NYRA — built on Interact intranet software to give staff fast access to information, people and shared resources whether at a desk or a kiosk on-site.
Interact implemented Inside NYRA with team sites, a People Directory, HR repositories, a Daily Handle dashboard, weather feeds, recognition pages and Interact Analytics to measure use. The result: more than 75% of NYRA’s workforce now access the intranet regularly, collaboration and onboarding have improved, content is tailored via analytics, and staff can see real-time commercial performance and key updates — driving greater engagement and more consistent guest-focused behavior.
