North Devon Hospice - Customer Case Study

North Devon Hospice, the UK winner of Interact’s Global Charity Competition in 2012, engaged Interact to build a bespoke Interact Intranet for its 500 staff and volunteers across the charity headquarters and 12 remote shops. Lacking any existing intranet portal, the hospice needed to overhaul internal processes, improve departmental communications and reduce operating costs.

Interact developed and rolled out a custom intranet from January 2013, built with input from every department. The Interact Intranet centralized documents and forms, added a people directory and uploaded all patient/carer leaflets with review dates for clear version control, giving community nurses and shop staff instant access to information—improving access for 500 users across 12 locations and delivering ongoing cost reductions.
