Kent Community Health NHS Foundation enhances patient care with Interact

Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust, which employs more than 5,500 staff delivering community health services across the South East, struggled with an outdated intranet (StaffZone) that held over 5,000 documents, had poor search and no engagement tools. To connect distributed clinicians, improve access to clinical information and enable two‑way communication, the trust deployed Interact’s intranet platform (branded internally as “Flo”), including Interact Teams and collaboration features.

Interact implemented a streamlined intranet with powerful search, optimized navigation, social collaboration, Workspaces and analytics. The trust reduced content from ~5,000 pages to 1,200, created 50+ team workspaces, and in the first month recorded over 140,000 visits from 4,914 users (about 88% of employees). Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust reports faster access to clinical resources, reduced travel costs, less admin time and improved patient care as a result of Interact.
