International financial services provider Travelex connects its global workforce with the Lounge

Travelex, a global foreign-exchange and payments provider with 10,000+ employees across 1,400 bureaus in 70 countries, faced a disconnected, largely frontline retail workforce and a legacy intranet that offered only basic, functional content. To build a unified culture and give dispersed colleagues a way to connect, share and access business-critical information, Travelex partnered with Interact to deploy a new global intranet platform, The Lounge.

Interact delivered The Lounge as a cloud-hosted hub combining targeted content, permissions, social features and productivity tools—blogs, forums, training hubs and program pages like the RPM League—to unite employees and streamline work. The Lounge averages 11 blogs per day, drives the RPM weekly video to more than 11,000 page views per month, generated a blog post with 400+ likes, reduced reliance on email, sped up access to policies and training (e.g., Money Transfer hub), and helped Travelex win multiple awards including Best Social Intranet and Best Blog at the 2017 Ragan Intranet Awards.
