IIE, a global leader in international education with 18 offices and more than 42,500 program participants, faced siloed ways of working and a legacy SharePoint intranet that lacked social collaboration, effective search, and knowledge‑sharing. To break down barriers and create a virtual community, IIE selected Interact and deployed a new intranet platform — branded internally as “Eddie” — to replace the old system.

Interact implemented an out‑of‑the‑box intranet with team sites, Interact Forums, Interact Rewards, homepage news, and Interact Search with Best Bets, supported by Interact professional services to structure content. The result was greater cross‑departmental collaboration and engagement, centralized branding resources, faster document discovery, and significantly fewer duplicate email queries as staff use forums and rewards to share knowledge and recognize peers.
