HABA USA, the American division of the long-established toys and board games brand HABA, wanted to grow revenues and market share in a highly competitive Amazon marketplace. Although it already had an advertising agency in place, its campaigns were focused almost entirely on branded terms, which delivered strong ROAS but limited the company’s ability to reach new customers. Intentwise re-engineered HABA USA’s Amazon ad campaigns to emphasize non-branded and competitive keywords, giving the brand better visibility into branded versus non-branded spend and helping it attract more shoppers. The approach led to strong measurable gains, including a 46.2% increase in overall sales YoY and a 191.2% increase in ad sales YoY, while also helping HABA USA acquire new customers more efficiently and expand market share.
