Barnes & Noble College Booksellers manages campus bookstores and mailroom services at select universities, including Hofstra University, where employees struggled with a fully manual package process. Using carbonless copy forms and manual email notifications, the mail office required multiple staff and many payroll hours to process 200–300 packages during peak periods, frequently lost paperwork, couldn't track chain of custody, and had to pull staff away from bookstore sales to handle package chaos.
