BRS Relocation Services Inc., a 25+-year New York–area relocation and storage firm, faced growing pains from a manual inventory system that made it hard to track expensive moving equipment (more than 10,000 dollies and 5,000 commercial bins) and customers’ stored items—especially media clients that needed rapid access to specific props. To solve visibility, accountability and lost-time issues, BRS selected IntelliTrack and its Inventory, Shipping & Receiving (ISRP) barcode-based solution.

IntelliTrack implemented a web-based barcode/cloud ISRP system with mobile scanning, cycle counts, searchable item records and customer-accessible catalogs while preserving confidentiality. Since going live in January 2014, IntelliTrack’s ISRP has delivered real-time, multi-site tracking, improved accuracy and theft prevention, faster pick-and-deliver times, increased staff productivity and new revenue from customers paying to access the online inventory—translating into measurable time and cost savings and higher sales for BRS.
