A Move to the Cloud Gives This Inventory Management Company Room to Grow

MCI|AST, a Louisville-based vendor-managed inventory provider serving manufacturers nationwide (including Hitachi), was constrained by manual data entry, disparate order sources, and limited visibility as it scaled. To improve accuracy, efficiency and provide real-time access for customers and suppliers, MCI|AST turned to IntelliTrack’s cloud-based inventory management software.

IntelliTrack deployed a web-based PC and handheld solution, customized the interface and data fields, and built a custom automatic order‑upload application to update MCI|AST’s database in real time. The IntelliTrack solution reduced paperwork, automated line‑by‑line fulfillment to cut discrepancies, freed staff time for higher‑value work, delivered vendor-side visibility and reporting for customers, and helped MCI|AST add ten new suppliers while positioning them to expand to a second facility.
