Snowbombing, the winter music festival run by Broadwick Live in Mayrhofen, Austria, needed a way to increase on-site revenue, speed up transactions, improve the guest experience, gain better sales insight, and secure the event against ticket fraud and pass-backs. To address these challenges, the festival worked with Intellitix using RFID wristbands, along with cashless payment and access control technology.

Intellitix implemented a closed-loop Cashless Payments system and Access Control across the festival site, including temporary venues and hard-to-reach mountain locations, ensuring reliable coverage even in challenging weather. The result was record top-up numbers, faster transactions, full event coverage, and eliminated ticket fraud and pass-backs, while Snowbombing also gained valuable customer data and strong guest adoption of the technology.
