iCEV builds a secure AI reporting prototype in weeks with IntelliTect

iCEV, a provider of online Career and Technical Education curriculum, wanted to explore how an AI assistant could help educators and administrators interact with its platform using natural language. The challenge was to create a conversational interface for complex reporting tools and support resources that integrated securely with iCEV's existing Azure environment and respected user permissions. iCEV partnered with IntelliTect to design and implement an architectural prototype.

IntelliTect developed a C# chat agent application using Semantic Kernel to orchestrate Azure OpenAI. The solution demonstrated secure integration with Entra ID authentication and iCEV's knowledge base, allowing for natural language report discovery and support. The proof of concept provided iCEV with a working reference architecture, clear insights into AI behavior, and a practical foundation for future AI-powered features within their platform.
