The Military Family Support Branch of the Georgia National Guard Collects Essential Data for Family Support Program

The Military Family Support Branch of the Georgia National Guard supports Service Members, spouses, and children across the state but long managed critical information with paper binders and an Adobe FormsCentral workflow that was retired in 2015. Facing the need for an easy-to-use, secure online data collection system to serve a geographically dispersed population of about 14,000, the MFSB sought a solution that would speed form creation, ensure data security, and reduce administrative burden.

After evaluating options, the MFSB implemented Formstack to centralize forms and submissions in an online database with advanced security and easy export to Excel or PDF. Formstack now handles general data records, employment assistance requests, time-off and marketing requests, and has processed about 5,000 submissions and hundreds of employment requests—saving staff time, improving data accuracy, and enabling faster distribution and access across the statewide community.
