Big Green is a nonprofit that builds Learning Gardens and food literacy programs at low-income schools to create a healthier future for kids. They struggled to collect compelling, authentic stories and media from teachers in the gardens, making it hard to demonstrate program impact to donors and stakeholders.

Big Green combined Mogli SMS (an SMS tool integrated with Salesforce) and Formstack’s Salesforce app so teachers can text a keyword to start a chat, receive a pre-populated Formstack form, and submit story details, photos, and videos from any device. Submissions are automatically archived in Salesforce, resulting in more and better-quality stories, richer media, more accurate data, the ability for teachers to submit without onsite internet, and a stronger ability to show program impact.
