Novella Infusion, a New England infusion provider, needed a better way to handle patient intake and consent forms. Its clinics relied on stacks of paper that patients filled out in the waiting room, followed by manual scanning and filing into the WeInfuse patient engagement platform, creating inefficiencies and risks around missing or misfiled documents. Intellistack Formstack was used to modernize the process.
Intellistack implemented a Formstack integration with WeInfuse so patients could complete intake and consent forms on their phones before appointments, with data flowing directly into their WeInfuse profiles. This eliminated paper-based workflows, reduced administrative scanning and file-naming work, improved data security and process consistency, and sped up check-in; if needed, patients could still use a tablet in clinic to complete forms quickly.
