How K-12 Institution Organized Online Communication Through Approval Workflow

The First Academy, a K-12 college preparatory school in Orlando, needed a faster way to build and manage online forms after its lone web developer, Tim Nethers, no longer had time to code forms from scratch. The school was already using Intellistack’s Formstack platform, and needed help streamlining payments, registrations, and approval-based processes across campus.

Intellistack implemented Formstack forms with integrations, iframe embeds, conditional logic, e-signatures, and Approval Workflow to move tuition payments, club fees, SummerQuest registrations, and medical absence approvals online. The result was a major expansion in form use—from 60 forms to more than 170 in one year—while eliminating manual cash handling and enabling staff to approve, deny, and comment on submissions more efficiently.
