Digitizing Loan Applications for Contactless Service

Brand Interactive Communications, a marketing firm with 20+ years’ experience, helped a large credit union with nearly 100,000 members that relied on about 20 paper-based loan applications (mortgages, auto, personal and business). During COVID-19 the paper PDFs forced members to visit branches and the process took roughly two weeks per application, so the credit union needed a fast, contactless digital solution across six branches and roughly 20 loan officers.

Brand built a secure, branded digital workflow using Formstack Forms and Documents—leveraging conditional logic to show only relevant questions, hidden calculating fields for application ratings, file uploads and encryption, and Zapier integration to ActiveCampaign. The solution digitized all loan applications, enabled member confirmations in minutes, cut processing from two weeks to a few days, sped pre-approvals to under an hour, and saved about one hour of loan officer time per application.
