Creating an Online Paycheck Protection Program Loan Application

Tri Counties Bank, a community-focused bank serving Northern and Central California, needed a fast way to collect Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan applications without costly custom development. They had to capture hundreds of data points, integrate with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (via nCino), eliminate manual data entry, and move quickly under tight time constraints — all with a zero-code solution.

Using Forms for Salesforce and Documents for Salesforce, the bank built a secure, native Salesforce online application in one week with drag-and-drop form building and automated document generation. The result: a one-week launch, 2,908 loans originated and funded totaling $436.7 million, all data stored in Salesforce, a fully automated end-to-end process, and preservation of more than 25,000 jobs while saving substantial manual labor.
