The Brunswick County Association of REALTORS® (BCAR), a local real estate trade association serving hundreds of REALTORS®, appraisers, and affiliate members with a staff of five, was slowed by a PDF-based membership application process. Members had to print, fill out, scan, and return forms, often with missing or illegible information, which created delays and cost about two hours of staff processing time per application.

Using Formstack, BCAR launched a branded digital membership application that captures applicant data, signatures, and payments in minutes. The new form eliminated paper, reduced data errors, cut two hours of processing time per application, and improved member satisfaction—prompting BCAR to build nearly 30 additional forms to streamline other workflows like waivers and program enrollment.
