Day & Nite, a field service company serving commercial refrigeration, kitchen, and HVAC customers across the East Coast, had been an IntelliShift customer since 2018 and was looking to better coach drivers on safety while reducing rear-end accidents. IntelliShift implemented AI video dash cams to provide in-vehicle coaching and real-time detection of risky behaviors like distraction, tailgating, and phone use. Within six months, Day & Nite reduced rear-end accidents by 75%, cut in-cab phone usage by 90%, and raised its safety score from 74% to 89.6%. IntelliShift also helped reduce claims processing time from months to under 30 days and supported three driver exonerations with video evidence.
