Yonkers Preservation upgrades 60 apartments with Intellihot's 1,200,000 BTU/hr smart boiler room

yonkers preservation, a multi-family property, needed to upgrade from a low-efficiency steam boiler and storage tank system due to concerns over legionella bacteria growth from stagnant water. They partnered with vendor Intellihot Inc. to find a safer and more efficient solution for their 60-unit building.

Intellihot provided a solution using three iN401 tankless on-demand water heaters. This system eliminated the risk of stagnant water and delivered an installed capacity of 1,200,000 BTU/hr with zero gallons of storage. The Intellihot solution improved health and safety for residents and provided the building staff with remote monitoring capabilities for easier maintenance.
