Wilderness at the Smokies, a large resort in Sevierville, TN, faced challenges with an unreliable water heating system characterized by leaky storage tanks and regular failures. Seeking a more efficient and dependable solution, the resort partnered with vendor Intellihot Inc. to implement their tankless water heating technology.

Intellihot Inc. installed a system using five iQ1001 and two iQ751 units, which eliminated the need for 1,700 gallons of hot water storage. This state-of-the-art solution provided the resort with a total installed capacity of 6,500,000 BTU/hr. The implementation by Intellihot resolved the reliability issues and provided a modern, efficient water heating system for the extensive property.
