The Pancake Pantry, a family breakfast-and-lunch restaurant in Gatlinburg, TN, was dealing with a failing hot water system made up of two 50-gallon water heaters and a 100-gallon storage tank. To avoid jeopardizing operations and reduce space usage, the restaurant turned to Intellihot Inc. and its iN501 tankless water heater.

Intellihot Inc. replaced the old system with one iN501, delivering 500,000 BTU/hr with zero gallons of storage. The new solution took up only one-third of the space, cut install time in half compared with a like-for-like replacement, and provided efficient, on-demand hot water with built-in redundancy.
