RA Sushi, a high-end Japanese fusion restaurant owned by the Benihana group, needed a reliable way to supply very hot water at 140 degrees for 14 to 15 hours each day in a space-constrained kitchen. After past tankless water heaters failed due to lime scale and reliability issues, the restaurant turned to Intellihot Inc. and its wall-hung i200 units.

Intellihot Inc. installed three i200 tankless water heaters cascaded together with zero-gallon storage to deliver the required hot water and built-in redundancy. The 316L stainless steel heat exchangers resisted scale buildup and supported long daily runtimes, giving RA Sushi dependable performance and improved reliability versus previous systems.
