Hilton Garden Inn, Port Washington, NY, needed a reliable, energy-efficient hot water solution for its new 165-room hotel, which includes a heated indoor pool, fitness center, lounge, and restaurant. The property’s management was concerned with meeting peak demand at full capacity while maintaining strong reliability and controlling energy use in a seasonal market. Intellihot Inc. supplied the water heating system.

Intellihot Inc. installed two iQ751 commercial floor-standing, zero-storage water heaters with a total installed capacity of 1,500,000 BTU/hr. The on-demand system with six individual heat engines provided redundancy and efficient low-flow operation, helping the hotel meet peak guest demand while reducing wasted energy and saving space. Intellihot’s solution was designed to deliver endless hot water with up to 40% energy savings versus traditional water heating methods.
