Rincon Center, a 23-story mixed-use property in San Francisco with restaurants, offices, and high-end condos, needed a replacement for its aging water heating system. The existing setup was inefficient, costly to maintain, and would have required an expensive crane-assisted removal and installation. Intellihot Inc. was brought in with its iQ251 wall-hung units and zero-storage design.

Intellihot Inc. replaced the old boilers with fourteen iQ251’s, delivering a more efficient, lower-maintenance system that eliminated the need for a crane. The new solution cut gas usage by 47% and reduced operational costs nearly in half, while also removing 500 gallons of storage and providing a compact, redundant system built for long-term reliability.
