Loews Miami Beach Hotel eliminates 1,200 gallons of stored water with Intellihot

The Loews Miami Beach Hotel, a prominent hospitality property in Miami, faced significant challenges with its outdated hot water system. The hotel was relying on three large, inefficient boilers and 1,200 gallons of stored water, which consumed excessive space, was costly to operate, and posed risks of leaks and bacteria. To address this, the hotel partnered with vendor Intellihot Inc. for a modern solution.

Intellihot implemented two iQ1501 tankless water heaters, which provided a total installed capacity of 3,000,000 BTU/hr. This Intellihot solution completely eliminated the need for the 1,200 gallons of stored water, saving considerable space and mitigating the previous risks. The new system also significantly improved energy efficiency for the hotel, which serves over 790 rooms.
