Leading Retailer Company, the largest membership-based warehouse club in North America, needed a way to provide reliable hot water across new store locations for demanding back-of-house operations, including the meat and produce sections, while also serving the snack room and restrooms. Space was limited, so they needed a compact, off-the-floor solution. They turned to Intellihot Inc. and its commercial tankless water heaters.

Intellihot Inc. designed a split-system configuration using four i200s per store: one loop of three units for the back half of the store and a second loop with one unit for the front half. Since 2014, this setup has been built into store design for every new location, delivering endless on-demand hot water with zero-gallon storage, improved space savings, and up to 40% energy savings compared with traditional water heating systems.
