Intellihot upgrades the water heaters in this hotel with zero interruption of service
Fairfield Inn & Suites in San Jose, CA, a 96-room hospitality property, needed to replace its aging hot water system without interrupting hotel operations. The existing setup included two 400,000 BTUH heaters and a 120-gallon storage tank, but frequent maintenance issues and reliance on mixing valves made the system unreliable and costly. Intellihot Inc. was selected to provide a better solution.
Intellihot Inc. installed one iQ1001 tankless water heater with 1,000,000 BTU/hr capacity and zero storage in August 2016. The upgrade was completed with zero interruption of service, eliminated the need for mixing valves through precise temperature control, and improved efficiency with on-demand hot water delivery.
