Hilton Garden Inn saves energy with Intellihot’s 1,500,000 BTU/hr water heating system

The Hilton Garden Inn in Port Washington, NY, a new hotel in a seasonal market, was concerned with energy usage and system reliability. Their challenge was to satisfy guest needs at full capacity while also supplying an efficient and redundant hot water system. They chose Intellihot to address this.

Intellihot implemented a solution using two iQ751 commercial water heaters. This system provided ample capacity for peak demand and utilized six individual heat engines for redundancy. The result was that the hotel could reliably meet all guest requirements while the units' high turndown ratio created significant energy savings during periods of low demand.
