Fairfield Inn & Suites saves mechanical room space with Intellihot’s 1,750,000 BTU/hr hot water system

The Fairfield Inn & Suites in East Syracuse, NY, faced a challenge during the new construction of their 108-room hotel. The original plan for two traditional water heaters with storage tanks was too costly and required more mechanical room space than was available. The hotel needed a value-engineering option to solve both their budget and space constraints, leading them to vendor Intellihot Inc.

Intellihot provided a solution using two iQ751 units and one iQ251 unit. This innovative design created a primary loop for domestic hot water and a separate wall-hung unit to boost temperatures for the laundry. The solution implemented by Intellihot successfully reduced the hotel's capital expenditure and saved significant valuable space in the mechanical room, all while ensuring an uninterrupted hot water supply.
