Culligan picks Intellihot’s Deionized Tankless Water Heaters

Culligan, an Indianapolis water treatment company, needed a highly durable, deionized tankless water heating solution for its water bottle cleaning plant. The facility had very little room available and required equipment that could handle heavy-duty cleaning demands without the failures associated with copper heat exchangers. Intellihot Inc. provided the answer with its iQ251D deionized wall units.

Intellihot Inc. installed two iQ251D water heaters cascaded together to instantly heat reverse osmosis water for the cleaning process. The stainless steel heat exchangers met the plant’s daily demand for deionized hot water, while the compact zero-storage design saved valuable floor space in the new 25,000 sq. ft. facility. The system delivered 500,000 BTU/hr of installed capacity with zero gallons of storage, improving efficiency and simplifying installation.
