Best Western in Knoxville, Tennessee, needed a better way to handle hot water demand for its 95-room hotel and commercial laundry, especially during peak occupancy and game days. Its aging system, made up of atmospheric vented boilers and multiple storage tanks, was leaking and could no longer keep up efficiently.

Intellihot Inc. replaced the old setup with a single iQ751 system paired with 100 gallons of storage, providing enough capacity and built-in redundancy for high-demand periods. The result was a more reliable system, elimination of more than two-thirds of the hotel’s hot water storage tanks, and an average 35% reduction in therms per occupied room compared with the prior year.
