Abigail Adams Middle School replaces 800-gallon storage with Intellihot for 1,500,000 BTU/hr hot water capacity

Abigail Adams Middle School, a school with 1030 students, faced a challenge with its 30-year-old water heating system. The outdated system relied on an 800-gallon storage tank that required boilers to run year-round and was beyond its useful life. The school selected Intellihot to address this problem.

Intellihot implemented a solution using two iQ751 tankless water heaters, which provided 1,500,000 BTU/hr of capacity with zero gallons of storage. This new system from Intellihot replaced the old tank-based setup and now carries the entire hot water load for the school building.
