New Mexico State University Global Campus re-engages 204 students in 2 weeks with IntelliBoard

New Mexico State University Global Campus faced the challenge of identifying and supporting disengaged online students. Without a way to easily track engagement, pulling data from their Canvas LMS was a slow and labor-intensive process. They sought a solution to gain faster, meaningful insights to take timely action and turned to the learning analytics platform IntelliBoard.

IntelliBoard provided a centralized platform for real-time student insights, allowing the university to identify at-risk students and automate alerts for advisors. The results were significant; within weeks of launch, a new dashboard flagged 217 inactive students. After direct outreach, 204 of those students were re-engaged, achieving a 94% success rate. This success with IntelliBoard helped NMSU Global develop a scalable model for early intervention to improve student retention.
