GTCC streamlines census reporting for 27,500 students with IntelliBoard

GTCC, a public community college in North Carolina, faced a challenge after transitioning to the Canvas LMS. They needed to efficiently generate specific census reports for compliance, which was difficult with Canvas's built-in reporting. While they considered building a custom solution via the Canvas API, they sought a more efficient option and turned to IntelliBoard Pro.

IntelliBoard provided a solution that allowed GTCC's audit department to pull any census report for any course or semester. Faculty were also empowered to gather their own data quickly within Canvas. This increased the college's efficiency. As a result, GTCC plans to collaborate with IntelliBoard to share its reporting infrastructure with other schools in the North Carolina Community College System that use Canvas.
