Avianca, one of the world's oldest airlines, sought to enhance its staff training processes to maintain a competitive edge. The company needed a solution to better manage its asynchronous and synchronous training programs delivered via its Open LMS platform. To address this challenge, Avianca partnered with the vendor IntelliBoard and utilized its IntelliBoard Lite reporting product.

IntelliBoard provided the solution by becoming the primary source of reports within Avianca's learning ecosystem. It automatically generated weekly progress reports for training leaders to monitor staff and identify areas for improvement. These reports also fed corporate dashboards with metrics on learning time and engagement. As a result, by the end of 2021, IntelliBoard helped Avianca successfully train approximately 24,000 users and saw a 25% increase in total system users, growing from 35,000 to 45,000.
