The Australian National University (ANU) needed to digitize and centralize administrative workflows, targeting a particularly inefficient Travel Approval process that duplicated 10 manual forms and contributed to more than $2.2M in travel administration costs annually. Intelledox donated its Infiniti platform and helped establish an Intelledox Digital Transformation Centre at ANU to create context‑aware, accessible and reportable digital processes that automatically pull user details, roles and financial codes and integrate with core systems.
Using Intelledox’s Infiniti, ANU deployed a web‑based self‑serve travel approval workflow in eight weeks, integrating with Oracle PeopleSoft, core HR and finance systems and the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade. Since launch ANU has processed over 30,000 electronic travel approvals, realized more than $6.1M in net benefits, eliminated low‑value admin work, improved real‑time visibility and reporting, reduced errors, and identified over 170 additional digital transformation projects while retaining business ownership of the software.
