Business to government engagement solution at Department of Infrastructure

The Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development faced a major business-change challenge after Australia’s 2012 coastal trading reforms: the paper-based, resource-intensive licence application and processing workflow needed to be simplified so shipping companies could apply, track and pay online while internal teams could process, approve and report more efficiently. The Department engaged Intelledox to digitize the process using its Infiniti platform and next-generation smart web forms.

Intelledox delivered a scalable government-to-corporation solution that uses Infiniti forms with Microsoft SharePoint as the applicant portal and Microsoft Dynamics for case management, plus a secure payment gateway and automated approvals and record-keeping. The Intelledox implementation has driven faster permit turnaround, reduced data-entry and administrative cost, improved transparency and reporting, and produced over 4,000 electronic stakeholder interactions since rollout, demonstrating measurable productivity and compliance gains.
