SHI, a global manufacturer of plastic injection molding machines offering more than 50 models and over 250 attachments, struggled with highly complex RFQs that delayed equipment delivery. To simplify estimation and reduce lead-in time, SHI engaged Intellectsoft to create a tablet-based solution.

Intellectsoft developed an iOS iPad app — an employee-facing questionnaire used by sales reps in the field and at trade shows — that gathers customer requirements and automatically generates and emails RFQs to SHI headquarters. The Intellectsoft app reduces questionnaire complexity and completion time, produces faster, more accurate RFQs, improves sales interactions, and enables SHI to shorten lead-in times for machine delivery.
