A major Fortune 500 IT company, one of the world’s largest semiconductor chip makers, had developed smart knee-pads to measure pressure and time spent kneeling but lacked the software to collect, report and act on that sensor data. They engaged Intellectsoft to build a software prototype and accompanying mobile/web tools to turn raw BLE sensor readings into user-friendly reports and alerts.

Intellectsoft delivered a custom prototype with BLE-optimized firmware, an iOS app and an interactive web admin panel to enable beta testing and real-world validation. The Intellectsoft solution provides a dashboard that tracks kneeling pressure and duration and issues health alerts, enabling gas-industry employers and workers to monitor knee strain, make informed decisions, and reduce the risk of long-term knee injuries.
