AlumTies, a small start-up of college classmates building an app to distribute updates, projects and event details to university alumni, needed to turn an idea into a viable business. The company engaged Intellectsoft’s planning and development services to perform market analysis, define UI/UX and technical specifications, and produce a realistic development budget and timeline.

Intellectsoft ran a strategic workshop to develop AlumTies’ business model, complete market research, and define technical specs and a release schedule, then executed those plans in a second phase by building the software, UI and core programming. As a result, Intellectsoft moved the product from concept to scheduled release—keeping development, QA and launch on track—and delivered features such as news feeds, donations, user profiles and a flexible admin panel to enable a rich, intuitive alumni experience.
