WellPoint, one of the largest health insurance providers in the United States, needed to consolidate structured content repositories, standardize workflows across subsidiaries, centralize authentication and authorization, and improve records and lifecycle management. To support this effort, WellPoint worked with Intellective and IBM FileNet Panagon/P8 technologies to move toward a unified content and process management approach.

Intellective helped WellPoint plan and transition its content management initiatives from Panagon Image Services to FileNet P8, including the consolidation of more than a dozen subsidiary systems and the federation of over 3 billion documents.
