Amoco, a major global producer of petroleum and chemical products, needed enterprise-strength content management to support a company-wide SAP financials rollout for more than 5,000 users. Amoco engaged Intellective to evaluate and plan a content management solution, including SAP Doc Warehouse, distributed capture and indexing, records management, and migration of existing content.

Intellective, working with IBM FileNet Lab Services and SAP/FileNet expertise, delivered a practical implementation path using a mix of customer and offshore resources to maximize ROI and reduce risk. The result was a successful SAP and FileNet implementation that helped Amoco support its ECM systems more independently, with total FileNet-related costs of about $2.2 million over 1.5 years.
