Boston Harbor Hotel, a Forbes Five-Star property in Boston, was looking for new ways to incorporate technology into the guest experience while improving communication and reducing operational costs. The hotel partnered with INTELITY and introduced in-room tablets and a mobile hotel app to modernize guest interactions.
With INTELITY’s hospitality technology platform, Boston Harbor Hotel replaced most printed in-room materials with digital content, enabled easier guest requests, and added upselling and marketing opportunities. The results included an 80–90% guest usage rate, a 90% decrease in in-room print costs, a 16.4% increase in total annual in-room dining revenue, and a $700 revenue boost from a one-hour push-notification promotion.
